How to plan a series rotation

A useful series rotation plan checks more than the starting order. Rest days, pitch limits, opponent matchups, starter hand mix, and bullpen load should be reviewed together before a game begins.

Usage notes

  • Short rest is flagged when rest days are below the preferred target.
  • Pitch overage is flagged when expected pitches exceed the selected limit.
  • Bullpen pressure is averaged from 1 to 5 and contributes to the operation risk score.
