How box quantity is calculated

The tool adds optional reserve stock to the total order quantity, then divides by units per box to calculate the carton count required.

Calculation notes

  • Units with reserve = total units x (1 + reserve rate)
  • Boxes needed = ceiling(units with reserve / units per box)
  • Last-box units show how many units are needed in the final carton.

Frequently asked questions

When should I use reserve stock?expand_more

Reserve stock helps when you want to cover damage, inspection loss, or small fulfillment overages.

What happens when the units divide evenly?expand_more

The final box is treated as a full box, so the last-box quantity matches the units-per-box value.
